I had lunch and hanging-out time with my buddy, Tim, who I consider a dear, dear friend (who I've known for a long time). We always make time to see each other when I'm back east, and that means a lot to me.

Not a great picture, but.... I'm staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Norwalk, CT. I love the Garden Inns -- they're afforable, full of amenities (including laundry and a pool!), and the staff is great. (I'm staying in one in NYC, too.)

I think I would be hard-pressed to fit even small clowns in this car. Tim somehow got himself into the back seat -- there is literally one inch of space between the driver's seat and the back seat. We had to use the jaws of life to get him out.

For some reason, Tim wanted to take his car instead of the cartoon mobile. Whatevs....

Here we are at the UPS Store. Tim had to ship a box back to target.com. This errand was run after we had lunch at a lovely restaurant. I forgot to take pictures (a) outside the restaurant, (b) inside the restaurant, (c) of the wonderful food, and (d) even of the waiter. So much for documenting everything.
I was going to take a photo of my leftovers, but they don't really look as pretty in a styrofoam box.

Here's a photo of me and Tim. We shot several photos, but Tim was not happy with them and threatened me with bodily harm if I chose one of the others. I hope I picked the right one. I look like I might have sat in something uncomfortable. Or at least ticklish.

Here's a photo of some cows. Yup. I love rural Connecticut. There was also a deer wandering around Tim's backyard, but I wasn't quick enough to get a photo. Tim doesn't like the deer because they eat his flowers. I don't know how he feels about cows.

Shot through the passenger side window of a moving car (I mean, I had pulled over to the side of the road carefully), this is a photo of the Danbury Airport, which is actually smaller than Burbank's!
Quite a beautiful shot of the almost-cloudless sky, considering it has done nothing but rain here (and will apparently continue to do so for my entire east-coast trip. Sigh.).

And, of course, no vacation is complete without a trip to CVS. This time, unfortunately, it was for cold medicine, because I have a DOOZY of a cold!!
