12 of 12: April 2010

I had all good intentions for a productive day today, but my back had other ideas. I had really bad back pain over the weekend and, unfortunately, it just kept on goin'. So I took the opportunity on this rainy day to update a website, sleep, listen to some music, sleep, take some 12 of 12 photos and, you guessed it, sleep.

The view out my front door -- it had just poured for a while, and the clouds were breaking a little bit, so I took a few photos.

Shortly after this, the sky opened up again and we got dime-sized hail! It was wild....

This is a cane. Yep, a cane. I was forced to acquire it several years ago when I had a mysterious knee ailment (which has since, thankfully -- knock on wood please -- gone away).

Today's need (and that of the past two days as well) was from back pain. Really bad back pain. Doubled over, can't lie down, can't sit up, can't go anywhere back pain.

And so my 12 of 12 day was indoors.....

I put new music in the MacBook Pro (Train -- love them), and I spent the day re-designing the website for The Actor Connection (hopefully it will be launched within the next day or two -- having a couple of glitches I need to work out).

This is the kitten that went through several name changes, and now has no idea what to answer to (I'm currently calling him Fred. As in Freddy Krueger).

He's watching the rain fall out the kitchen garden window.

This is Bogie. His new favorite place is the futon in the dining area. He pushes all the pillows out of his way (notice the one on the left of the photo).
