This is my espresso machine. Today it told me it needed more water. So I filled the plastic container seen here to the left with more water. As I went to put it back on the espresso machine, it slipped out of my hand and spilled at least a quart of water all over my kitchen counter, under appliances, on top of a cookbook, flooding a bag of English muffins.
Oh it was a swell moment.
This picture is AFTER the disaster, as I was finally making my coffee.....
